on my way home fuel light came on,10 mins later before i had a chance to fill up warning light came on ,then started to miss fire and drop off cylinders,filled up but no better,light still on , ANY IDEAS (HELP)

Disconnect the battery for 10 mins and try again. This should reset the car's ECU.

when did you last change the coil packs? should be done every 2 years maximum

NEVER CHANGED ANYTHING ,ITS JUST HAD MAJOR SERVICE,EVERYTHING BEEN GREAT APART FROM THIS,RUNING LOW ON PETROL CARNT CAUSE THIS CAN IT,I HAVE THE BATTERY DISCONECTED,WILL LET YOU KNOW IF THIS WORKS,IF NOT ITS ONTO THE WARRANTY PEOPLE

also sounds quite similar to when lamda sensors go down.
you need to get it plugged into a diagnostic computer for the error.
