I hope I'm not going to be 'dissed , man 'for pointing punters at another site.... A rennlist thread covering hi mileage 996's sure makes interesting reading . The vast vast majority of respondents (and there's five pages of them) have had incredibly little go wrong with their motors ..

Not too surprising. Cars used regularly and for distances that allow everything to get fully up to temp tend to last longer than 'cherished' examples!
