Anyone spend a lot of time in the Porsche forums? I need someone to help me keep an eye on things here and make sure everything's running smoothly. A few bells and whistles will be available to PistonHelpers in due course.

Ted, what about Domster? He's always on here and keeps a good eye on proceedings. I bet he wouldn't mind dressing up in a leather German army outfit and issuing strict punishment to non-conformers either!!

I would be happy to help, although I can't keep a beady eye on things when on holiday or busy 'busting my advertising moves'

So I would gladly take the mantle, but a back up moderator would probably be needed. Also, I am a technodonkey, so hopefully moderation is easy to do.

I don't do many things by moderation, you see.

I'd be happy to help but be mindful when it comes to computers I'm a techno dunce. My access to the site is also pretty irregular.

Have we had any problems on the Porsche section?

Thanks guys. Domster and Dazren I'll take you up on your offers if I may.

It's not that there have been any problems, more just to have a couple of friendly faces on hand to welcome new members and sort out any difficulties.

PistonHelpers will (when I finish that bit) have the facility to set up polls, upload pics etc.

I must admit to reading or contirbuting to every post in the early days of this forum, but it has really taken off - as 8000+ posts has shown - and I now take more of a back seat.

I will therefore have to get back into the old habits of checking all threads, not that things ever really get out of hand here.

Don't worry about checking every thread. Anything nasty is usually reported. Just want a couple of people around who have an interest in keeping things ticking over smoothly.
