Fellas,

Having got my toy (996 4 cab) back form the menders and facelifted! I've gone the whole hog and had a paint protection film fitted by Paintshield in Grantham. Despite my reservations about having the film fitted, 'i'm chuffed to bit's'.
The install itself was very professional, including the design and fitting of some 'bespoke areas. As for all the fuss made about seeing the lines...well have a look to yourselves!!
Overall; I'm overjoyed with the results of 'facelifting' the 996 to the latter spec, and confess to feeling a little smug that come the end of the summer I won't be cursing every time I see more stonechip damage.
So having taken Verso's advice on the warranty, aligned to the fitting of stonechip protection.....role on summer..
Deano.

More Pic's to follow..

deano,

Just remember to give it a good coat of wax also once the 5 days are up. This will help with the shine too.

Glad you are happy with the film....

Is there any difference to how you wash and wax the car with this stuff applied?

What was the cost D3 ?
I just washed my car & complete dismay at the amount of chips on the bumper now, its peppered with them, so would be good to get this done.

leosayer,

Just wash and wax as normal 5 days after the film is fitted. Only thing to watch out for is not using cutting compounds such as T cut or using machine polishers on the film. Other than that no difference.
