Will,

I think that it really depends on whether you want a complete system including catalytic converter bypass pipe etc or just the rear silencer:-

(1) Complete sytem (made by Janspeed) are available at www.essentialstyling.com/944_turbo for about ₤550 plus VAT.
(2) Exhaust manufacturers such as Blueflame will make you a custom exhaust.
(3) Stainless steel rear silencers are sometimes available on ebay for about ₤140 or you can check out various other sites for OEM Dansk exhausts etc. Try:- http://partsforporsche.co.uk/osc/exha
or
www.porscheshop.co.uk/acatalog/porsche_944_performance_exhausts.html
or
www.type-911.co.uk/exhaustparts.htm or www.promax.uku.co.uk/
or www.d9autotech.co.uk/product.asp?cookiecheck=yes&numPageStartPosition=1&strPageHistory=cat&strKeywords=&strSearchCriteria=&PT_ID=101&P_ID=377

Please let me know how you get on with this because, if you haven't already noticed from all the links, I want an exhaust for the same car as you!

Regards,

Danny.

Hi Danny,
Thanks for the info - I am looking for a complete system and one that is not too loud but better sounding than the standard kit. I had a 911 3.2 Cab with a ss sports exhaust which was ok for short journeys but a real headache job long ones. I will keep you up to date with my findings.
regards
Will

Try europarts as well. I got my standard exhaust off them... good service.

Also, a search on ebay usually reveals a full stainless exhaust system.

I have a 944 T Cab too, lovely isn't it? I am thinking of chucking it in for a 965 but I will miss having the top down too much I think!
