My old 930 seems very very harsh on the suspension, so far have tried adjusting tyre pressure from 3 bar rear and 2.5 bar front (taken from factury hand book) but its still spine jarring. Dose it look like the car has been lowered to you guys ?

Looks normal to me, I'd be thinking about lowering it.

I'd suggest getting it down to your local independent to check the shocks, after all you cars going to be at least 17 years old, so if they haven't been changed they're probably due to be done.

Did mine on my 3.2 last year and the difference was amazing.

May do that, the shocks do look pretty new and it doesnt knock or rattle so don't think that's the problem . The car is now 25 years old....did you find your 911 to stiff ? I don't mind but its a job to get the wife to go far in it as its that harsh, are all 930s like this ? My old 72 911 seemed to have a very smooth ride.

Turbos are harsher than normal, i had a 3.2 carrera and my 965 is harsher I'd say.
Definitely get your local Porsche specialist to look at and drive it- they'll know.

Love those 930`s , always have, always will.

If it were me and funds permitting I`d take it to Parr at Crawley for a suspension makeover.

just had a good play with the tire pressure, handles best with factory settings but rides a lot better with 28 front 32psi rear. It dose lose a bit of sharpness to the turn in but its a lot more comfortable and a lot less twitchy. I`m running Bridgestone with 245-45 x16 rear and 205-55x16 fronts any one use these sizes and what pressures are you running ?
