Hi,

I am considering buying a 2001 C4 911. I own a 4.5 Cerbera at the moment, which is bl00dy quick. How do the C4's compare to the TVR's and are thay a quick bit of kit??

Many thanks

Won't feel anywhere near as quick, but the power is more usable more of the time.

A friend of mine went from Cerbera to C4, and was delighted.

Me, I prefer the C2.

Traded my Tuscan in for a 996 c2 six months ago. I reckon the porker to be a better point to point machine, but definitely less grunt and not so much fun. But on the other hand - you can be assured of getting there without help from the AA/RAC or having an off in a moment of wild exuberance. First time I joined a motorway in the porker I filtered on from the sliproad at well over the ton without realising - it really does go much faster than you think!
Go for it, I say.
