Suspension advice needed

I need to replace the dampers on my 1986 924S.
Are Bilsteins or Koni's worth the premium cost over standard dampers such as Boge?

Any thoughts?

Sian, a decent set of shocks can easily cost more than your car, so don't go mad. However you may find a nice set of Konis or Bilsteins improves handling a little and you enjoy the car more. Stiffer springs may make it less friendly on the limit tho', especially in the wet, so you may decide to stay with the standard replacements. Maybe see if there's a cheap set of decent shocks on ebay etc.
