I won't be at that one but fancy the 12th August date. Haven't heard much about the days organised by PCGB so if you have any experience of them or can give feedback after the 15th I would appreciate it. I've done plenty of track days in the past but will be a little nervous in the Cayman the first time on track in it. Because of this I wouldn't want to get in the way if the PCGB days are focused on the track boys who go a lot more frequently than I do.

I've done loads of PCGB days and would have no qualms whatsoever about attending one if i were in your shoes...or car so to speak.
I think the attention shown to other cars is very good at PCGB days.
There are many instances where there are complete novices on the day and they are catered for.
With what you say about having done trackdays before, you'll have no problem at all.

As long as people use their mirrors, there should never be a problem about getting in anyone's way, particularly at Bedford.
You'll find the Cayman great on track, whatever Evo say. It's fine at Goodwood and Bedford - although be careful not to cook your brakes as both of those circuits can be quite hard on them

Cheers Will, am looking forward to it now. I know all about using mirrors, indicators, creating your own space etc. I was just a little concerned that the day would be full of the Turbo and GT 911 boys and didn't want to get in their way. I'm usually soft on brakes but having done some Cayman brake testing at Millbrook last week I'm not worried if I do have to stand on them.
