Usual Cockpit Squeaks
Discussion
And they're not , for the most part , coming from the driver!
I've identified the squeaking noises as the dash and binnacle leather rubbing against each other as the car runs over bumps , ruts etc.
Has anyone come across a fix? I was wondering if a lube like silicone would make the surfaces more smooth and 'glide' across each other , but I'm afraid to use something which may damage the leather.

i have the same issue. Alarm sensor between dash and windscreen is the issue on mine.
It's definitely the binnacle in mine ... If I put pressure on it while driving it stops squeaking ... It doesn't bother me , but when 'er indoors , comes out doors it gets to her... I might have to wedge a 4" brick between the dash and the windscreen .
Job done!
