997 Turbo question
Discussion
Hi!
I currently have a 997 C2S Cab and am tempted to buy the Turbo. I have never owned a 911 Turbo, so my questions may seem a bit stupid so apologises in advance. I also appreciate that there is a lack of information out there.
What is the difference between the Turbo and Turbo S - is this material? Would it be a bad idea to buy a Turbo/S as a convertable?
Many thanks and have a fun and safe Easter!

I don't think there's any sign yet of a 997 Turbo S. In the past it's been a Turbo with a few bits added. Someone more knowledgeable than myself may correct me, but that usually amounts to the X50 power kit (an extra 10% or so bhp) and PCCB. Oh, and your pocket lightened by about an extra £10k. Another comparison can be found by looking at the Cayenne Turbo v Cayenne Turbo S.
Regarding 997 Turbo Convertibles, although I haven't seen any shots of one yet, I'd be amazed if there isn't one testing right now. Regarding buying one, I'd best just mutter something along the lines of 'each to their own', but if you like having the wind in your hair and want to go very fast, why not?
