LSD to early 944t

Doers anyone know if it is straightforward to fit a LSD to an early 944 turbo and a very rough estimate of cost to source and fit

Rough figures again, but I always thought you can get an new OEM LSD for about £1K fitted? Surely if a recon S/H LSD is £800 you're better off forking out the extra £200 and getting a new one?

List price for a new 944 LSD is around 1880.36 € incl german VAT.
