Looking To Purchase a 996tt In The Next Couple of Months,Have Seen A Seal Grey One At Strasse In Leeds,Anyone Know Anything About This Car? Also A Black One At Snippersgate Both Seem Nice Examples But Seem To Have Been For Sale For A Long Time???

I would disagree with that.

Colours are personal, but Seal Grey is very popular on the 996/997s - discrete and easy to keep looking smart. Maybe it's starting to get too popular, but if I wanted a 996TT, Seal Grey would be my first choice.

I too am a big fan of seal grey - I have it on my 996 Cab, and it's the only colour I wanted to get....colour is all about personal choice but as long as something is not outlandish then it should be easy to sell on...

Yes I think you have been mis-informed....It's a hugely popular colour.

But I'm not keen.

Seal here too. That or slate were the only colours I looked at or would look at for another Porsche.
Its also a very very easy colour to resale, whoever told you otherwise was misguiding you.

I'd be very careful buying anything from Strasse in Leeds.

Nothing too horrible...they lied to me about the number of previous owners on a car. Also got the impression that they really weren't that interested in selling cars. If you do buy from them make sure you get an OPC check and verify that all the service history is genuine.

Thanks for the reply, spoke to them once about 12 months ago and got the same impression, thought maybe they were having a bad day,maybe thats why its still for sale???who knows.
