3.2 Stainless Backbox - Cant find any suppliers locally!

Any of you 3.2 Carrera owners got any tips on where to get a nice sounding / looking replacement backbox?

I did have a hunt on the net for Danske as well and drew a blank.

Got my Danske with an impressive 84mm single outlet for £276 + VAT. That was from Strasse in Leeds so not sure whether they could get one delivered or not.

I was quoted £315 + VAT from another fairly local independent.

If you are bit more patient you could go for an M&K muffler from the states. This will land in the U.K for less than you would pay for a Dansk Silencer (import duty included)

Check this out.

These are much lighter than the Dansk Silencers, are made from a higher grade stainless steel (apparently uses airplane technology) and sound much deeper / aggressive

Will these bolt into the standard system just replacing the back box?

Are there any downsides such as effect on the heating system?

This is a straight forward bolt on replacement to your existing silencer. I have not noticed any difference in the heating system since the install.

If you are considering upgrading your silencer - this has to be a serious contender. Ben is a genuine guy and is extremely helpful - give him a call

When he fitted a system to my old CS, he advised that he supplies a silencer which IIRC was based on a Dansk, but "opened up" a little for a bit more noise and to be freer flowing.
