Sticky Throttle Pedal

The throttle pedal on my 996 has started to get a bit sticky. When accelerating gently (not easy I know) the pedal wants to move in little jerks rather than a nice smooth movement. Has anyone else noticed this and have any suggestions for fixing it?

YOU NEED TO CHANGE THE TROTTLE PEDAL THIS COMES WITH THE CABLE THAT IS KNACKERED

the pedal is prone to snapping on the plastic hinge !!
