Alloys back and Powder coated - shinny heaven

Hi Guys,
Just got my hollow spoke alloys back from KMH (wigston, Leicester). 2 day turn around, £40 all in per corner. You can choose from over 500 colours (bascily anything).
Anyway I am over the moon with them and thought I would share my joy. I wanted gloss black with a polished rim but they dont do polishing, so I went for all black. The look is far better than I could imagine, its so shinny I had to dull down the photo but have others if requested..
The finish is superb, the only prob with powder coating is they cant get all the way into the bolt holes or do plastic inserts. But the bolt holes can hardly be noticed but I will mask up and spay a little black into them to get them 100% (but hardly worth doing). I will buy some new plastic inserts in black with coloured Porsche sign when I get round to it.
If you research on powder coating, its harder and stronger than normal alloy spray jobs and brake dust doesnt easily stick to them ( but thats just what I read).
If your interested in using KMH, its a small company so they want alloys with no tyres on and I would imagine you would have to drop them off and pick them up again.
Tell me what you think and if you want any more pics I will post some. I cant wait to get these on my car.

What you do need to be aware of with powder coated wheels is that you could have them "sticking" to your hubs, especially if you track the car. I powdercoated some wheels for my car and didnt remove the coating from the contact ares and it took an almighty amount of force to remove the wheel.
If you havnt already fitted them get a sanding wheel on the end of a drill and remove the black from the areas around the bolt holes and also the inside of the centre hole. saves a lot of grief later.

Thats sound advice. My wheels got so hot on a track day after refurb that the paint melted between the back of the wheel and the hub and the wheels worked loose and where barely hanging on.
Make sure your tyre fitter mounts the tyre from the inside rim. wheel facing down on some soft cloth.
There is no problem with powder coating - the Rennlist guys in America all do it, thats what gave me the idear. And they are complete Porsche nuts.
The powder coating is a lot harder than normal paint so I hope they will not get damaged, I will have to find a good tyre fitter. Any recomendations for the Leicester area?
KMH was wise to the alloys sticking and put special stickers on the places that shouldent be covered, they just peel off to the reveal the normal surface. I will put some copper grease on as well to help them.
