Foreign travel!

I want to take the porker abroad this summer and do a bit of touring. 4 days to a week and I'm taking my old man who would love to see Paris. I was thinking of taking the ferry to Calais then driving down to Paris. A day or two in France then onto Germany.
Any suggestions of routes and places I could stay that are Porsche friendly?
Some nice hotels/food would be great aswell as a chance to take the 993 on an autobahn or two and fully explore the car and it's new (cargraphic) sports exhausts!!!
I'm unlikley to visit any tracks (too inexperienced and frightened I'd damage my pride & joy) but any recommended drives would be greatly appreciated.
By the way, whoever recommended me to the Old Bull at Beaumaris, thanks. What a top place with great food!

we went to Epernay which is not far at all. Park up at the Moet Chandon chateau and stock up on champagne. Roads were empty and fast. We also went to the Loire Valley, visited the vineyards at Sancerre / Pouilly Fume. check out one of those route planning websites for distances and times?
Beware! France is a nightmare for half kerbs on the entrance to all car parks.
Epernay and Reims were not easy going.
Almost beached the RS a no. of times trying to park at the Champagne Houses. Ended up parking on the street miles away.
Just off myself to Bruge,Spa,Dijon, Evian. Baden Baden and Papenburg.
3 track days and one drift traing day to look forward to. Any of these places are recommended for the Spas, food, wine or golf whatever takes your fancy.

I suspect that was *me*. I've recommended that place a few times...its not far from where my old folks live so handy for a "posh" meal out. Glad the recommendation was useful.
I'm not going to be so helpful on your European tour, sadly, amazingly its just not one of things I do. Enjoy anyway!
