Having never been to Spa, Can anyone answer:-

Is there any high octane fuel on-site? (or will i need jerry cans)
Does the tyre support truck carry plenty of Corsa's?
Anyone staying at the Raddison Balmoral?

Which days are you visiting Spa? AFAIK there are two trips this month.

There's a Total station 1/2 mile from the circuit, this sells Super only (can't remember whether this is 97 or 98 octane).

I'm there with a few others 30/31st May and we are staying at the Balmoral.

I'd love to know the answer to this too... save me having to bring my own spares...

Paul - yep, staying at the Balmoral.

When i was there last year with Autotrack in May, they had tyre support.

They were Pirelli dealers and had plenty of Corsas.

Autotrack use Silverline, I'm seeing them tomorrow so I'll check if they are going to be at Spa with us on 30/31st May.

If they are I'd recommend calling them and preordering them.

The real ones are 5-6-7 mai, the PCF Days, the European Porsche fest. Ask anyone who has participated! I have done both the Autotrack and the PCF days (several times each) and the standards of PCF are unmatched (for hospitality, organisation, standards of driving, variety of cars--ever seen a 917/10 on the track, driving by Willy Kauhsen himself? or a 550, or a 935, or a 934, or an SC/RS, or an ST?)

Splitting drivers between beginners, sport and racing (slicks only) also allows for better driving standards and and racing teams to participate (see pistenclub for a similar idea). Not many discussions of "going sideways through Blanchimont"

Is the circuit open the night before?, I'm thinking about leaving the car/trailer there and taking the truck to the hotel

There's always the Radisson SAS Palace Hotel in the centre of Spa, this has a secure underground car park with the steepest angle I've ever seen!

The Dorrint also lost cars that year , clearly someone knew what they were after!Stayed in the Moderne , it certainly is nt, car park more lethal than the thieves , my preference down the road Hotel Val D'Ambleve, part of Romantik Hotels Eu group, medium price , bar, restaurant, gardens to sit in if its sunny after long day, with cold beer ..........3 kms out in Stavelot, 1 taxi in the whole village !bit of a b...r if u fancy a drink anywhere else , but plenty bistros and bars within walking distance ..............most people in the area very car friendly was justa nad year i guess.............dont know if u can lock cars in garages overnight, we did once , will depend what was day before i guess ask Autotrack well possible .............

Yes Moderne is a misnomer but it's more in my price range than the raddison. Still I would bet most places within reasonable distance are fully booked now anyway. Looking forward to seeing the orange beastie. Never did get a ride in the blue one, for one reason or another
