Clearly you don't know much about the ordering process on this car.
I have been looking at getting an import purely as I want to save some dosh and not get such a hit again on the wallet. However I do know that the dealers are telling customers that they only have one left etc and that will be their only supply of cars for the next year. If you get this story just laugh as the way it is working is that dealers get say 4 cars for this year. Once they have sold all those 4 spots and not before, they will then be allocated more. Porsche are deliberately trying to make it look as though spots are running out fast.
I was told to put my deposit down on a July build for next year so that the dealer could then go back to Porsche UK and announce that they had sold all their 4 spots. Then Porsche would give them some more and my July build would then be brought forward probably to March which would suit me. If I can't get an import I may well do this but don't believe any of the shit the salesman are spouting about allocation drying up fast.
