993 turbo s vs 993 turbo
Discussion
I was wondering whether anybody out there who has driven the turbo s could explain how it 'drives' differently to the regular 993 turbo?I know what the cosmetic differences are,I was more curious as to how the two cars might feel different, especially on UK roads.Apologies if this topic has been tackled in the past and thanks in advance for any feedback.

The Euro S came with a comprehensive suspension upgrade developed by Porsche Exclusive (replacing virtually all the suspension components including new control arms with less pliant bushings) which was retrofittable on a stock 993tt for the mad sum of £7800 + fitting (back in '98).
I have it on my 993tt. I removed the solid top shock mounts and changed the shocks to Blistein PSS9 - this makes it very usable on UK roads, not harsh, just tighter.
With the stock shocks springs and mounts it IS pretty harsh, it will really "rattle" the car when you go over road markings.
BTW I have a printout from Porsche detailing all the components with part numbers - email me if you want to see it (doesn't tell you much apart from there's a lot of stuff
