Split rims - What are they worth
Discussion
OK you knowledgeable bunch how much is a set of Original 18" Speedline split rims c/w coloured porsche crested centre caps worth, they've also still got the "speedline for Porsche" rim stickers or whatever they are and are in very good condition + Original 964 RS Clubsport Adjustable suspension in excellent order
I have seen those split rims with part worn rubber go for 800-900 GBP before. Sometimes 1-1.2k with really good rubber. New you will pay 1.8-2.2k, for sure.
Without rubber, they are worth much less as people have to shell out for a grand of rubber straight away.
If they were magnesium GT2 split rims they would be worth twice the amount, I'm sure.
Only my estimation! The market will pay what the market will pay. Simple as that.

yeh i've seen em around about that price for Originals that is are the originals magnesium ?
Jasmine will be selling them new at 2.2k. Second hand price is obviously 25-50 per cent less, depending on condition.
IIRC, normal 993RS splitrims are ali centres, the GT2s are mag centres. The deluge of replicas has also affected the price; you can get a brand new set of replicas with brand new rubber for circa 1-1.2k.

If its of any interest to you i would be interested in buying it all from you!
Well I'm not really sure if I should be keeping em or selling em, Cos if there that hard to come by (Originals not replica's)then may be I should hang onto them but I s'pose money talks at the end of the day ?
These wheels aren't replicas they are as it says on the rim "Speedline for porsche" and as it says on the yellow sticker on the Wheel bed "Speedline Competiton" I've also got the superlight ally wheel nuts as well. The fella I bought the car from in Austria wasn't just a Porsche enthusiast he was a Porsche Club Racer and new he's stuff so he hasn't skimped on any of the detail, the car I bought from him has all the correct Porsche upgrade stuff including fully rose jointed suspension/front and rear wishbones etc, but whether the wheels are magnesium or not i couldn't say I Hope someone on here will be able to tell me what to look for, they are very light though
