Refreshing Service from Dove House.
Discussion
Most posts tend to moan about problems, so I like to try and sing people's praises when I feel I've received good service:
2 months after taking delivery of the GT2 I still hadn't received the 3rd warranty transfer docs which I had been promised. This wasn't the dealers fault but the previous owner who needed to sign the docs. Dove House kept chasing though and finally I got back from hols to find the docs.
Excellent....but...
..then I read the small print. A £5k claim limit!!!??? Hmmm, that doesn't sound a lot of good on a car of this value.
So I dropped Dove House a mail, they agreed with me and have said they will pay for an OPC warranty.
Very rare and very nice to receive that level of service. I can't recommend them enough. I am convinced 99 out of 100 of dealers would have told me to shove it where the sun don't shine.

Nice to hear........
How's the GT2 experience going......?
Simply awesome. Picking it up from the paint shop tonight, it has been having the front PU resprayed whilst I've been away :-) Can't wait to see her gleaming and nicely zymoled
Have you modded yours at all? I'm still considering a remap...
I've not got mine anymore.....
The picture's still on my profile because it looks nicer than the Cab....!
If you're thinking of a Re-map, then DMS are the business. I've had 2 cars done with them before (not Porsches) and a friend has just had a 996tt done up to 500ish bhp - I've driven the car and it is awesome...... Their re-map for the GT2 has some pretty impressive figures..... Give Mike a call....

Already spoken to DMS and I'm considering them. From speaking to a few people in the know, the DMS guys are just inputing a standard map which I'm sure gives great results, but I think I would prefer a custom map based on a day on a rolling road as every engine is different.
Would be interested in anyone else's views or experience with remaps...

When they did my Audi, and the 996tt, they downloaded the original map, and sent it back to the office. They then receive the new map (via mobile) and re-load it......
I believe that they are getting a rolling road installed at one of their premises (Southampton I believe), but probably just to compare before and after.....
I shouldn't really labour the point, but as a believer in good customer service, they are second to none.
Good luck with whatever you do, but be sure to keep us posted.
must be a loose screw somewhere - 460bhp, no traction, and still not scary enough
