Should be exactly the same, but i'd say the aftermarket kit i fitted was noticeably brighter than the factory kit. Not surprising, since the factory kit was a 1998 vintage and the aftermarket Philips kit i bought was in 2004/5 - you never know how much the technology could have improved in that time.

www.HIDS4U.co.uk have full hi/lo functionality. I've been enquiring for my 964, though I need shorter versions than the regular as I will not be boring 25mm holes in the back of the headlamp/wing to accomodate anything.
