After washing my 924S today i went to open the driver's side door to find that the handle is broken. At first it was very loose but now is very stiff (no blue jokes needed in replys :P). It can be opened from the inside however. How much is a new one or is there a way to try and fix it? Thanks for your time as always chaps.

Last time I had something stiffen up on me (no jokes either), twas the boot lock on my Ford Orion, nearly brought a new one, until I filled it with WD40, it was a loose as the knicker elastic on a whores draws after that. Worth a try.

Have a nice day out there

The trigger part of my drivers side door handle snapped off recently, leaving me in a similar position. 924 and 944 dour handles are, I think, the same as Mk I golf (and other similar vintage VW Audis). I would suggest that you take the handle down to you local breakers and see if they've got a replacement. Failing that try one of the several breakers who advertise on ebay (South Coast Porsche Spares?). If you I trying to find a Porsche script one - good luck.
