The old china finally began to give up the ghost at Silverstone last month and I decided to trade up to some more serious pieces front and rear at JZM. The job was done quickly and it was great to have a chat with Steve and have a look at some of the metal they are working on -who has the gorgeous orange Manthey'd GT3?)

I am already impressed by the feel and sheer stopping power of the brakes but the weather has prevented any real test of their potential. However it shant be long until I'm back on track seeing what they can do. (curiously the ceramics could often felt like they lacked the ultimate retartation, though never actually came up short.)

I also have had the geometery set for fast road/track which should help (and go some way to prolonging the shoulders of the MPS)

RS29s and SRF brake fluid as well?

If so identical system to mine. They are very very good. Just beware on track that they need a bit of heat in them so take the first few corners a little conservatively. Then again ceramics didn't work without a bit of heat either.

Almost, SRF but RS421's: after a chat with Steve I decided that I would start on more road biased pads (I do 13000 odd road miles pa) to eliminate squeal, which used to annoy the hell out of me in the Noble, and if they end up becoming inadequate on track then I can always change them for the 29's.

Sounds like a plan. Could even switch in 29s for trackdays - it's not the longest job once you know what you are doing.
