Need some help, Cannot find the wheels I want.

Right I have a problem, I have a 964 c2 cab as my everyday car, it will be back on the road in a couple of weeks.
It currently runs on 16" D90's, which tbh I like, the difficulty is getting tyres, I can only use conti's or bridgestone's or I think Michys, as the depth of the sidewall means using anything non N rated results in deforming wall syndrome on the rear tyres.
So I'm looking for a set of either cup 1's in 17" or the 996 carrera 18" wheel (the 5 really thin spokes.
The problem is cup 1's are plenmtiful, but nearly every set I look at are fake, and stupidly heavy, bear in mind my car does a lot of track and competition work, and gets driven hard, D90's are a very good wheel on a technical basis.
And the carrera wheels are like hens teeth cheapest I have found is £500 not inc tyres.
So what I'm after is a set of either of those wheels, original Porsche only please, I dont care if they need refurbing as I run a bodyshop and car restorers, as long as they are straight and true that will do me.
Has anyone got any kicking around?

Would love to see what they would look like on a 964 c2 cab in black, I'd guess possibly slightly OTT, but god they are sexy!
I went to look at some Krone Split rims down at a well known 911 design shop in london, they were the closest thing I could afford, pity they were bent :S !

You'll pay for the 18" Carrera 2002 alloys - have spent some time looking for a decent set for my 993. I'll be picking them up from the refurbishment place this weekend... but they were well more than £500 for the set of 4 wheels.
Be careful because the lightweight 5 spoke wheel is available from certain firms as a 'replica' wheel which may be much heavier. Equally there is a Boxster fitment which has different offsets and a narrower front wheel.
The OEM wheel is light enough such that it shouldn't make much change to the loading on the steering rack of 993s or 964s, but if you get the replica wheels or heavy tyres then you'll need the steering rack brace (it may be prudent to fit one anyway, they're not expensive)

Tel 01332 799 298. I got a nice set of 18'' Sport Designs from him which only needed a gentle refurb for £500. He usually has a few sets knocking about and its definately worth a call as he does source his stuff from Germany so they are always OEM parts and if he hasnt got any he may be able to get some.
