Has anyone had any dealings with the above company? Looking to invest in the much discussed on this site...GT3.
They have one for sale in Iris blue. Anyone know the car or the company?
Thanks for your help.
Have dealt with them. Sold my car to them, a 993 C2, in 2001. Also, a good friend of mine bought a 993 cab in 2000 off them. His car suffered a knackered clutch after 2 months, which they fixed no problems at all.
I would say they are a straight set of guys with a good reputation.
As for the car, no idea. But as with all GT3's, do a thorough check of the condition of brakes, suspension etc.
And good luck!

Thanks for that Andy,
There is of course that rather nice 996 Turbo.....ever so close to doing a deal. Just can't seem to agree on a final figure! So near and yet......?

And inn response to your other formum on which I have commented - I am very serious.
Camtune strike me to be more interested in profit than porsche. I'd go to Paragon everytime : they knowledgeable, friendly and reasonably priced. Highly proffessional.
Paragon have better focus on 993's and 964's whereas Camtune seem to enjoy 996/ 997 sales more.Camtune charge a premimum which I think completely unwarranted.

I disagree and have found the opposite. Paragon prices really take the pi$$, and I was not made comfortable talking with their rather greasy/cheesy smiling saleman. Camtune are not the cheapest, but I've had excellent aftersales service from Scott, Richard, and their technicians (Tim and Dave). Quite down to earth, friendly, and they seem to be extremely knowledgeable enthusiasts who make the entire process quite painless.

Each to their own. But the word cheap has no place in this dialogue, and I think you'll see I said REASONABLY priced. My experience of Paragon v Camtune is clear to me and that's all I'm sharing. If someone had the opposite that's fine, there is no right/wrong. I speak from my exp. others speak from theirs ; ultimately it reflects the subjective nature of people and car buying which has a degree of emotional decision making ; as evidenced by the responses ;-)
In a nutshell I recommend Paragon, I do not recommend Camtune.

Not a lot ! seems there was a cue of buyers waiting to see it !!
Got a bit of work being done in the deal and having a rear RS cage with harness bar fitted before collection
Just hope the inspection doesn't throw up any issues that spoil things
TCB, Is this the car with Mk 2 GT3 wheels fitted ? if it is, could you E mail me some photos once you have the car in your possession ? My car has the original split rim Sport Designs and I'm looking to fit something a bit more durable
(The pictures on Camtunes site are too small/c**p to judge properly how the later wheels look on the earlier car)
