RUF 3.8S Boxster

Hi Guys. My - very sensible - girl friend is getting a BoxsterS (987). I had one myself some time ago and loved it but have since moved onwards and upwards in the power stakes. Think 997 cabs are ugly so a bit stuffed for a convertible at mo. So,this looks like a chance too good to miss! I've had a couple of conversations with RUF (seem v.v. helpful) and they will drop in a nice shiney new 997 3.8S lump for me for approx. Euro.30k. I'm really rather excited by the idea. I know some of you have experience of RUF. Could I have you thoughts on their work, back up etc.

Ruf will do GT3 into Cayman to. Will also do supercharged 3.8 into Cayman (435bhp)... oooch!

Post a message to Flemke as I believe that he once had a Ruf fettled boxster some years ago. I seem to recall that he wasn't particularly impressed with it.

With the overall cost of the car and conversion, I'd be tempted to spend a bit more and stick a GT3 engine in it.

Oye...get that web site sorted. It asks which language and has a picture of a German and US flag. The language is E N G L I S H not bleedin American!!!
