Sounds very interesting! I'm assuming this is a 944 with a supercharged 968 engine - nice
What sort of performance figures are you getting with 300BHP/tonne?

The car started as a std 944, after removing all interior, was run in Porsche sprint championship.
Then the fun started, full Leda suspension, full engine g/box rebuild, cage, seats and uprated brakes. Not enough, so next came 968 engine & g/box. No, still not there, 944 turbo brakes/Portafield pads and more weight reduction (plastic bonnet/hatch/door & side windows), the car stopped & cornered well, but would not pull more than 127mph at Donington (1:21 lap time)
Colin Belton (ninemiester) wanted to fit a s/c to it, how could I refuse !. We have fueling problems at the moment (SPR are sorting this, no fault of Colins), so at this time the car has not run in anger, lap times should be down to around 1:18/135mph.

Ah I thought it might be the car ninemeister was working on. I remember he was going to fit a custom intake manifold as the original 968 part was particularly inefficient. Do you know if he's going to market these - I suppose its the same design as on the S2?

Yes, I think Colin will market the throttle bodies, (I know he reads this forum, so will let you know himself).Colins got two 968 projects on the go at this time, one that he's fitting Motec and the throttle bodies, aiming for 300bhp, and mine. Once he's perfected both I'll see if he can mate the two together !! (should get close to 400bhp I thihks)

Ah, so it's yours is it, I've been trying to find out who owned this car as I want to fit the same kit to my 944S2, see post from 1st January. I've been following the development of the kit on Rennlist and 968.net and I was waiting to get some good feedback from someone who had the kit before I took the plunge.
Please post more info in your car, what level kit did you go for? Have you made any other mods to the engine? How did you find dealing with SFR, I've heard nothing but good things about Tim. How easy was the kit to fit? How about some pictures?
Sorry for all the questions, but I've been waiting for over a year for this kit to be available and I'm dieing to get my hands on one.

Thanks

Andy
