92 litre fuel tank in 993?

Anybody have one of these, what sort of range / luggage space do these give?

Do you think it would be possible to change the 70l tank for a 92l one for say £1000? Or would the work be too complicated?

Lhd only.....new tanks are about a £1k.......lot of change to spend to gain an extra 20 litre fuel capacity.

I get 500 kms on 92 litres of fuel - mixed range of driving incl town, motorway cruise and hard A road.

Only get a squashy bag in the front and would prefer the smaller tank.

just worked out that's 15 mpg!!

Unless you can drive at sustained high speeds I think you'll find that the larger tank means you'll be wanting to stop for a comfort break before the car needs more fuel. And the reduction in boot space is not insignificant.

And as pointed out only available for LHD cars. Will also require a different OBC in order to properly calculate distance to empty.

The only real advantage I found with the larger tank was on trackdays, you can spend the whole day on track, where as sometimes those with the standard tank often have to go to find fuel after lunch!
