Is that a standard 968 steering wheel?

Got the digital clock rather than analogue though, so I think it's a Sport.

I believe the airbag steering wheel was available as a no cost option on the CS.

(I've got one on mine, its bloody massive, will be changing for the 3 spoke clubsport wheel very soon!)

I've got the digital clock too, has a stop watch function as well in the CS, which is nice!

It's a LHD CS - you could spec what you liked hence the seats & airbag wheel. It's just that in the UK they made life easier (as we're obviously dunces) by speccing a set of trim & calling it Sport instead of ClubSport, whereas on the continent you could have a/c, comfort seats, rear seats etc etc & still have a car badged Clubsport...

On UK clubsports you could also have comfort seats instead of the buckets if you so desired, at no extra cost.

A bit more info on the 968CS, I know I'm sad but to quote GT Purely Porsche 968CS living legend article “Where it gets confusing is that when ordering their pared down, lightweight road car, Club Sport buyers could opt to refit many of the deleted options. For example, go for the comfort pack and you got electric windows and mirrors, while standard seats were a no-cost option. Perhaps more worthwhile was the safety pack which was made up of an alarm, central locking and locking wheel nuts.”

I was thinking about poping down to see this on tuesday and wondering what the difference is betwen a cs and a normal 968 ?

Is it just weight and suspension or is more serious than that i.e. chassis ?

The one in the photos seems to have rear seat belts which would indicate rear seats not something I thought the cs had and a sun roof?

Any opinions welcome

My cs had a sunrof and electric windows. Depends on the spec you want.

As posted previously, they were all a CS in Germany (and poss rest of Eueope), and could be specced as the buyer wished. So a lot are closer to what we would think of as a sport - including the things you mention above.

The only difference is the sport has a few electrics the CS does not. i.e. windows, sunroof, boot release. It then has exactly the same suspension, engine, chassis etc etc. So it's down to about 30kgs or so weight differece. That's 1/2 a tank of fuel, or the difference between you being a fat bloke, or skinny one.
