gosh, yes. if you buy a 996 it'll happen almost immediately. normally before that. if yours doesn't it must be really broken.
however, it doesn't affect 993's though, and if you buy one of those Dr Ferdinand Porsche will let you sleep with his wife, wear his pajamas and smoke his pipe. not to mention the gold ingots that will appear from its exhausts on a twice daily basis.
so in summary:
996, bad.
993, single greatest machine ever and a better investment than property.
(just remember to flash your oil-fired lanterns at other 993 drivers as they pass, else you'll be forced to hand back the beard.)

It really is getting quite pathetic. We all know you have inferior cars so there is no need to blatantly publicise it!
hey, even cleopatra gave up denial eventually. and, like her im just admitting early what will be ineviatbley be proved true when cramped, smelly, creaky ergonomics and poor instrument visibility come back into vogue.
personally, i cant wait for the day it happens: i have a datsun cherry with the same quality of interior, and like the 993, this is sure to appreciate in stolen nazi-gold by the pico-second.

I eventually got a buyer for my 996 , and I'd say if I put the sale proceeds with my wife's life savings (and boy is she rich) , I'm hoping that I'll scrape enough together to get a couple of 993 seats and maybe a petrol cap (negotiations going well) - I'll work on the rest of the bits as soon as my 7 sisters start bringing home their nights earnings
.. Gotta get straight to it though as those darn 993's are appreciating so madly , I'll have to settle for ruffled ox blood leather if I leave it too much longer............................................
