Yep, they look after mine and have done so for the last three owners. They also did the Tubi on the Ferrari for me.
SteveF also knows them and has done for quite a while way before he had the Frerrari and Simon (Murcielago) knows them also.
If it's for a Porsche then i think they are the best bet in this region.

I use them regularly and have received first class service every time and the quality of work is excellent on my 993.
Also they are one of the few outfits that I trust - always feel I'm getting value for money.
Recent example - bought a 993 and heating playing up... OPC said new heating unit at £800 + VAT + fitting..... took to Strasse - cleaned up sampling fan at £30!

I have taken my 911 SSE to both Strasse and RPM, can't fault either of them. I got more of a detailed explanation and felt that more time had been spent on the car going over stuff more thoroughly at RPM than at Strasse. But, I would recommend either of them.
This is a big problem with this kind of post.
First of all there was a derogatory comment to Strasse and now to the other companies mentioned, all are respectable, and yet reading this post they sound like cowboys.
One thing I have discovered since setting up is that most negative posts against you are made by competitors!

I am not a competitor, I am a customer.
Why would you be upset by my post? I have not contravened the name and shame rules. Even though I may have a genuine dispute I am not posting the details here.
And if someone asks for an opinion on a service, what is wrong with giving honest feedback? I only responded to someone's previous comment- it is not as though I changed the subject. I agree there are good and bad, and hopefully a balance will be expressed and the potential clients can then make up their minds. This is afterall an independent forum, or would you rather only one-sided opinions be expressed?

For a start light details, just "I wouldn't" doesn't tell anyone anything does it? They could have made a mistake on a service, apologised and put it right and everyone was happy in the end or they could have performed shoddy work, used the customers car to do the butty run in, and charged the customer for work not done.
The fact is there are very few cowboys around at the moment, and those mentioned certainly are not among them. Things should be kept in perspective, a good company name is very hard to keep clean no matter how honest you are.

You may object to a comment like this but I don't.
As you may be aware, PH has a no naming and shaming rule which effectively stops people from giving full details of bad jobs/disputes. People should however have the right to say "I wouldn't" or "I'd try elsewhere first" etc as a way of complying with this sites rules and providing feedback to fellow members.
If interested PHers then want details they are at liberty to contact the poster via email. Similarly any trader who has an "I wouldn't" against their name has the opportunity of contacting the PHer concerned via their profile and finding out how they can make the customer happy!
I'd be most interested to receive details of competitors using false logins to slander other businesses. What may be common on many websites is certainly not a common occurance around here.

How can he say this for certain? He does not take into account experiences from some customers. If you can't substantiate what you say, please don't say it.
