993 Valuation - again!

As you may be aware I'm trying to find a 993, have been to see a few, some at criffords (sold) a couple at 911 Virgin ( v.nice but tip - I want manual),even looked at one from the pistonheads classifieds( nice, needs a few minor bits doing).

I have found another potential car

In your opinion, what would be a fair price for sensible coloured 1996 LHD 993 Targa, manual, 50k miles ish, assume v. good condition.

Sensible interior and exterior colours, very nice condition, good history, evidence of a clutch (or clutch pedal nice and light), 50k miles, manual, varioram 1996 Targa, good tyres, good brakes, HPI clear, LHD...

I'd have to say around £21k/£23k without seeing the car and knowing more about colours, history, etc.

Yep, something like that though maybe a little less if it doesn't have a/c etc.

That car's Iris Blue with black leather and has aircon (i wouldn't buy a 993 without air, save perhaps an RS or GT2, because you'd have the devil's own time selling it again).
Looks nice but is more expensive that a similar car would be here. The LHD market over there is pretty similar to the RHD market over here at the moment, and as a result the best LHD cars are being bought here and taken back to Germany.

Is it particularly a manual Targa you want? They are rare, so i guess if you find one you like you just have to pay the money...

I want a LHD manual, not fussed if it's a Coupe or a Targa, I havent found a really nice one yet.

LHD manual 993 in the UK will almost certainly be cheaper than buying one abroad in the current climate.

Shouldn't be too difficult to find one, depending on how patient you are (i'm not very!).

Where abouts in the country are you?
