Guys,

I'm being geeky here but I know several of you have taken your cars to rolling roads like Weltmeister, AMD, Thorney and Surrey RR etc and I was interested to find out what kind of dyno figures people were making with their stock and modified Porsches. I was especially interested in measured 'at the wheel' figures (but extrapolated flywheel figures as well if that's all you have).

If you have any for your car I would appreciate seeing them and maybe I can collate a few.

Not much I'll grant you but it's only gotta push 1150kg (and falling) down the road....

964 c4 light weight fly wheel, K+N Cat bypass and chip

Mine was tested at 226.7 at the wheels. 25% loss through a c4 4wd seems to be the accepted average figure.

My 3.2 was chipped and tested at ninemeister warrington over 3 runs it averaged 254BHP up from 231 and torque 309 up fron 211.It made a big difference through the gears.It felt quite nippy.

I understand what you're saying, but I didn't mean this to be d*ck comparing thread.

People get their cars dynoed all the time, what's the problem in them posting the results... part of the reason for asking for the measurement from the wheels is to bypass all of those points of possible disagreement that you mentioned.

If this thread is of no interest to anyone, it will drop off the 1st page. There's little more democratic than that.
