I don't know Steve from JS Machtech. So no he was not there. It was the Porsche Francorchamps Days from start of May. 1200 Porsches from all over Europe were there for 3 days. Track was busy but it made it more fun!
The car is the original 1993 RSR 3.8 with RS tuning engine(~ 375bhp). Car weighs just over 1000kg but there is a 100kg passenger in it.
It had part worn set of slicks on it. With a new set and no passenger I reckon 2.40 is possible. It will rev to 7500rpm but is driver limited to 6800 so not to shag the engine to quickly. 40,000Euro rebuild every 150 hours! Or so I was told by my friendly German car dealer from Telgte! Made me think twice about driving it. But not for long!
It is a real joy to drive fast at Spa. And no, it is not Carreraboy driving ;O)

Don’t mind him awesome video first time I have seen it.
Reason I bring up Steve from JZM is he stop working on my car to go to spa to help with a customers car wondered if it was yours.
Any pictures from the outside of the car. Also what did you use to mount the cam?
It is a Fast Film triple suction mount with a couple of elbows. See the 964RS forum for details. There I have referred someone to the little used pages!

It now has shiney new BBS wheels. I am getting the owner to do the car up before I buy it off him for a knock down price!

Why limit it to 6800 rpm? The 7500 rev limit is probably quite some way inside the 'real' rev limit anyway.
