Monitoring progress of delivery question

As a potential 1st owner of a 997 GT3 this autumn in the UK, firstly how does Porsche OPC UK system work in monitoring and chasing progress. I remember the BMW system was pretty accurate and tracked each stage of the car. Secondly any more news on delivery of first OPC GT3 this Sept/Oct since the Thruxton launch.
