quick question, the exhaust on my 944 is starting to sound a bit weathered (small holes have appered around the middle section) and i'd like to upgrade it from standard from the manifold back. im having problems finding a good full stainless system. all that seem to be about are rubish mild steel peices of junk that will rust away to nothing at the first showing of our good ol' english wether and road salt. Can some one point me in the right direction please.

oh and another thing.. there was a post on hear last week about those plastic cops on the motorways (black and yellow 4x4's). a 45 min journy up the m1 took me 1hour and 15 min on saturday afternoon due to them putting a 40mph restriction because some young chav in a fiesta with 'spinner' wheel trims and all had a flat. do they do more harm than good for the traffic situation on the M1 which is bad at the best of times.

try promaxmotorsport. i got a janspeed system from them with a 25yr guarantee for my 968. apparently they dont do it anymore but have a replacement which is suppoed to be "better".
if the rest of my car lasts another 25yrs i will be absolutely delighted

Hee hee , my first belly laugh of the day .. Thank you .Is the current exhaust the original item and what is it made from? If it's steel and the original, is it fair to say that the next one made from the same material will last as long as the last? On a 944 if the exhaust is the original that could be anything between 15 and 21 years.
Is it worth spending the extra on a polished stainless exhaust with a 25 year guarantee when you might not have the car in 5 years time?
You don't see a polished exhaust except for the tip when it's on a car so it's a bit of a waste IMHO.
