looking to buy used 2--3 years old 996tt. any tips on what t

Any help appreciated as to what to look out for. Is it true that its common to have 3-4 owners on 3 yr old porsche.(as told to me by salesman). He said porsche owners usually well off so able to try other possibly newer models more readily.

First owner keeps it a few weeks and sells at a profit. Second rich owner keeps it for a year maybe cos its now boring. Third owner probably a real enthusiast keeps it until he realises he should have bought a GT2. :-)

You need to take it with a pinch of salt . I loved my s2000 but it was time to move on, for the money you cant get any better IMHO.

I'm the ninth owner of my car (although a '95) What difference does it make? Well, nine times the car has been bought and inspected, cherished for a year and then sold, checked again be a dealer.
If it was a fiesta you might be worried but as Henry will tell you these were 100K cars, sometimes people need a bit of cash so it's the first thing to go!

I spent 1 day on that forum when I was looking to buy an S2000 - all I can say is that it was an unpleasant environment - and that's from someone used to forum banter.

Some right choppers IMHO.
