paint code on 944?

Any idea where I can find the paint code on my black 1986 944?

See the sticker in the boot behind the spare wheel. You should find the same sticker in the maintenance booklet (the red one).

You're welcome. The colour code on yours could be something like LB7V or LY9Y.

Thank you for the great info. It's just a basic black, I doubt theres too many to choose from.. I've been doing a little resoration on the car. It's a 1986 944 Lux auto which I brought for some fun and a weekend project to keep me busy when my girlfreinds at work (she works shifts).

I've been attacking the botton sills at the base of the rear arch, lots of P38 as there wasn't much metal left.. There seems to be a thicker paint along the bottom strip, also in black - any idea what can I use to replace this? I guess it's like a stone guarde type of thing...
