Does anyone know what Porsche quote as the service schedule for a 2001 Boxster S? From memory it's 12 months or 12,000 miles - whichever comes first. But I can't seem to find anything on-line to back this up.

I'm looking at a potential purchase which is about 18 months old but has done less than 12,000 miles. I'm trying to establish (a) whether it 'should' have had a service by now, and (b) at what point the remaining warranty becomes void because of the lack of a service.

And I'm trying to get the 'official' view (i.e. from the printed service schedule, if possible) as it'll help me negotiate the price.

Anyone help?

I believe it's 12000 or one year. It certainly is for a boggo standard Boxster. For most cars for that matter.

I agree, minor at one year or 12,000 miles.
Major at 24,000 or two years.
Underbody check and brake fluid at two years.
Airbag at four years.
No cam belt to worry about.

Thanks guys. I've confirmed the 12 months/12,000 miles with a main dealer now too.

As it turns out, the car I was looking at was an import (which they didn't point out in the ad!) and so effectively has no UK warranty anyway. And even if it did (which I doubt) the importer had specified it without the standard UK spec. Muppet.
