Hi there,

Spotted a Metallic Blue new Porsche 997 Turbo today on the A50 between Uttoxeter and Stoke-on-Trent. Looked stunning and the new owner will obviously be very proud when it arrives.

1st one I have seen, hopefully the next one will be easier to look at.

The 911 below the Turbo was a superb colour not seen one in this colour before.

Regards

Tim
(p.s before anyone says the photo was taken by the passenger in the car)

Surely that will lower the top speed, due to drag it causes?

Isn't the turbo the launch car anyway. (sorry bad joke)

Saw this car yesterday, or one just like it, on the roads around Wilmslow - where no doubt it will make an excellent daily driver to the salon... seriously good looking though, and doesn't look as "weighty" as the 996 edition.

Think the light blue colour is Fountain Blue. 'Exclusive order' colour - I was told by Wilmslow OPC that this delayed the car by an additional 5 months!

Hi there,

Fountain Blue sounds about right. I have seen loads of 997's but never in this colour. It looked superb and definately the right colour for the car.

"Looked stunning..." - you mean the two exhausts looked stunning from underneath?!

I saw an 06 registered 997 Turbo in Fountain Blue on the Solihull OPC forecourt last Thursday.

One yesterday at Porsche's at Chatsworth House, brought by OPC. 200+ stunning others as well, including a gold GT3 in a sort of Champagne shade. A TiPEC Vice Chairman took the Visitors Concours for his Boxster as well.
Sunshine, lots of Porsche's what better way to spend a Sunday?
