You may get a wider response in the "Pie & Piston" Forum. Or in the "South West" Forum.

I stayed at the Jury's in Bristol.

It was OK (although going out with the SW lot was a hoot), but parking wise it was a tad "emotional" - the NCP is VERY tight.

You could try the Royal Crescent:

Not cheap, but it in a way it is "the place" to stay in Bath. Great place and walking distance to the centre, and if you get a front facing room the view is unique. And you don't need to worry about parking - they have people to do this for you.

I come from down that way....if you want in town then try the Bath Spa Hotel, there is a clue in the name as to whether it has a spa or not ...easy walk into town.

or try babbington house which is about 25 min drive outside bath...its a cool place to stay and have a great spa there.

both have porker friendly parking.

cheers,

The Royal Crescent is the absolute daddy, great spa, valet parking, wonderful food and not too stuffy like some top end hotels, heartily recommended. Think it'll be just over 200 though

Check out lucknam park, we stayed there last year. The place is simply fantastic and well worth the wedge.....

Bath is great, but the Roman's didn't take the car into account when they designed it. So, best to choose a hotel in the centre so that you can walk wherever you want to go.

Royal Crescent is perfect, Bath Spa a bit far out, but there are plenty of others - Francis, Royal York, Hilton, etc.

Out of town - Babbington, Lucknam Park, Calcot Manor, Whatley Manor, etc. The Manor at Castle Combe is also very nice, if a bit old fashioned.
