Ladies and Gents

This has and is taking a little more time than first expected...but all good things take time. There has been a thread on the LEMANS section about this.

Reason for this posted on Porsche, is we need Porsche drivers for a Record Attempt next year.

So the website is www.champagnemountain.com.. This is very much work in progress, but we (myself and Matt Pryde) are absolutely going to make this happen. If I am not sat here, this time next year, saying how well it went and how we made loads of money for charities I will be gutted and also possibly broke.

This is our plans:-

1) Lemans 07 run, via Paris
2) Guinness Book of Records Attempt. So all those TVR/Porsche/Lotus/Subaru drivers, we need you.
3) Raffle for a new Subaru Impreza WRX STI.Limited to 1500 Tickets and 10% to charity.
4) VIP hospitality, with Charity Auction/Live music
5) Most importantly 'The ChampangeMountain Girls'

More details will be shown in the next few weeks, but currently we are trying to confirm legally all the following points:-

Final sign up of Charity documentation
Final pricing for all packages.
Agreement of Record attempt.

Guys, please take a look and as ever, all input welcome.

David

so, ok ill admit im not the brightest, but there are not many lotus drivers on the porsche forum.

all the best with your charity attempt, out of interest what percentage of the profit goes to charity?

Must stop using Copy and Paste.Sorry about that.

10% of restricted ticket sales for the draw.
Once costs of stickers for record attempt are covered, rest of funds to charity.
Packages TBC.
Auction held at Lemans all proceeds.

May be as well to go in & edit your original post (the "Cut & Paste"!) to take out the LOTUS bit otherwise further confusion is bound to reign!!!
Now whilst I'm here can any MG owners help me with my flat cap problems?

Thanks.... To be honest, the only manufacture I would not want to have involved is Rolls', as they have already set one of the records. Just figured(could hack some people off here) not many MG groups go to Lemans? Apologies for anyone offended. Happy to be proved wrong..

This looks like a commercial event paying lip service to charity with some minor donations. If you wish to advertise a commercial event then please get in touch and I'll send you a price list.
