Mate, your dad is a Saga member, surely? Good deals for silver foxes like him Probably a discount for having his car in Amethyst, too!

Chaucer Hi Marque would hopefully be below £500 depending on postcode and security but excess may be around £600 !!

Whoever you use may charge extra for having to insure a TIP !

Nice looking car you've got there Paul.

I pay just over £400 on my C2 with a 'bad postcode'.

I'm 34, that's about what Tesco (who the previous owner was insured with) quoted me. Was that because of the bodykit?

Got max no claims and car is garaged. Others I've spoken to on here pay about the same as me. Even DucatiGary who's much younger and it's his first car!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe because of a little indiscretion in my E30 M3 i guess ? I don't think i'll be insuring myself next year !, although technically it was free as i didn't pay it my company did!

Just quoted myself £750 on 10,000mls a year ! You lot don't know you are born

Bloody 2003 GT2 is £1400 with a lower excess !!

Try A-Plan.
I pay £950 with 6 years NCB protected on my C4S. Based on 20k miles inc Cat1 business use.
No Accidents/claims/convictions.

Edit: To say I'm 27 so I thought this was good. Especially as I was paying £1600 for a modified S2000.

Paul, do you know why the C4 is cheaper to insure than the C2?

Thought it was less, must have been the Kronenbourg.

i "think" nervys is much much less.. .. .. on his GT3CS unless that was also the crap beer having its magical effects, well either that or was one of the "gift from Lemans" beers that mysteriously landed outside our tent in the morning. . . . . . . . .

Forgotten about them, worth a thread on their own.

Worth mentioning Gary's 996 has been fairly modified, and rather quick.

Not something insurance companies like.
