Hi Guys

Having had my Gt2 up for sale approx 6 months ago I thought I had sold it but sadly they bloke was a complete timewaster so fell through at the last moment, I decided to take it out to Spain and asked for everyones opinion on driving it on Spanish roads, with their new love of mountain high speed bumps and ice like tarmac even in the dry I was a bit nervous but it's been fantastic.

I spoke before I shipped it out with Camtune where I bought it from and they suggested raising the suspension by moving the mounting point or some such technical thing, I was concerned this would bugger the handing completely but what a difference, it never grinds out at all as I have also taken the rubber strip from the front and on the road it is much more compliant and easy to use machine. On track it would be hideous as we also softened anti roll bars and basically undid everything we did last year to dial out the understeer issues I had had on a couple of trackdays but obviously when its back in the UK I will have it adjusted back to normal suspension settings.

Anyhow am now at the point in time where I either officially import the car to spain and pay through the nose for import taxes or ship it back to the UK, due to work out here if it's in the Uk then I will nver get to use it so in reality I think its finally time to shift to a lhd Porsche.

I still have the website I wrote with some spec on it and some pictures which you can see at www.mikeknivett.com where you will also notice I have a 968Club Sport up for sale if anyone is interested.

The mileage on the GT2 is now approx 24500 and this will be reflected in the price, I would really love to see this car being bought by someone who loves these things as much as I do as I can honestly say it has been one of the most awesome ownership experiences I have ever had and in a way I will be gutted to see it go.

Let me know if any of you are interested

I can vouch for it being a very nice and very fast car, having chased it and ridden in it at Brands. Good luck with the sale Mike.

What LHD are you going to replace it with. GT3?
