Porsche Sprinting
The cheapest form of motorsport
This year's Michelin Porsche Speed Championship will feature a 14-round
season, covering hillclimbs and sprints at many of Britain's top speed event
venues. Hillclimbs at Prescott and Shelsley Walsh should attract up to 40
Porsches, while sprints will be held at a variety of venues including the race
circuits of Castle Combe and Croft.
Entries regularly exceed thirty in number with a wide array of Porsches of
all ages, many of them driven to the events.
Back on the schedule for 2003 after a two-year absence is the challenging
Porlock hillclimb in Devon, while other hillclimbs at Harewood, Gurston Down and
the season-finale at Longleat help make up a superb programme.
The season opens at Three Sisters on Sunday April 6th and ends at Longleat on
September 27th.
