Porsche Independent Enthusiasts Club - Derby 30th July
Discussion
I can't make the TIPEC event this year, but past experience ( at Walton Hall ) has shown this to be one of the most relaxed and informal Porsche days out available - and for sensible money.
Turn out is usually very good, and if the facilities are anything like those previously available, take a picnic with you.

Is it likely to be full of beardies discussing why water cooled engines are the poor relation?
Quite the opposite, TIPEC are definitely not the "air cooled is the only way" crowd, nor are they as 911 biased as i have found PCGB to be in the past. Very broad spectrum of owners and cars, from tidy old 924 to mint 928GTS and all the 911's and Boxsters too. Great crowd i find.
I look after Thames Valley region and like to think its a nice informal club that embraces all models.
I am definately not your bearded pipe smoking type, not yet anyway and I have a 996.
I'll be there and looking forward to it - pop up to our regions stand for a chat
The facilities with regard to food and drink are much improved this year - there is a beer tent for one thing which to be honest I wont be straying too far from.
Cheers
Paul
