You have to be in a Gt3 to get a wave from a Gt3 otherwise you are not worthy, only REAL Porsche drivers can master that thoroughbred machine........Alternatively just wave as you go past

I went to Bedford on saturday and acknowledged every
other Porsche driver - the only ones who waved back was
the older porsches and 944s

Works both ways, i've oft waved from the rose tinted cabin of my RS to other Porsche drives around here in the cold frozen North and a quick think can confirm, only 1 911 driver has ever waved back.

I think people think - oooooh look he's taking the p*ss outta my '98 boxster, which i never have thought or meant, so i don't bother anymore.

Shame really.

Whats the main difference between a GT2 and a GT3, the GT3 doesn't have a turbo does it?

sorry Simon was waiting for that . . . .

yeah and I can say I got killed by a passat deisel on that same road by a local . . . . . . and there aint any really long places to overtake, I could see you gaining on me though when I was taking off, then braking when you got close.

At one point I think I applied full throttle!

Fantastic drive.

I remember that last time you took me for a spin, in third at 90 (mpg obviously) where I was near crying as your rear fishtailed on a straight!!!! mg:

how did it go again, "ok simon im actually really scared now can you take me back please"

I did loose that yellow mk2 gt3 on saturday though he cheated in the end and took about 6 of us in a 30mph zone at about 70 when we all slowed being sensible etc.

It's odd people seem to get really unsettled as a GT2 passenger. I suppose it must be like the owner of a pit bull reassuring you that "honestly, he's REALLY tame." when it's growling two inches away from your nads. I don't know, loss of traction at 90, they're so playful!

Heard quite a few people moaning about that move. I suppose when you've only got 381bhp you need to get every advantage you can. I think for future events 30mph limits should be observed. Did you do him in the bends, or was your car quicker?

me and Paul (RedRSR) where stuck together getting away from him out of every bend then coming out of bardney he flew past a few of us.

I said the same to Paul, agree about the no passing on 30 limits.

also im never driving behind Paul again, I got splattered by everything on the road, was like following a sandblaster with his super sticky tires.. .. .. .. .. was worth it though just to get the full effect of his pops and crackles on the overrun

we where the last 3 (mk2 gt3 behind) and although he was getting away from us on the corners (paul this is) he didnt know the roads so I am pretty sure he wasnt giving it full beans.
