PSS9 suspension - anyone tried this on a 996?

I currently have the Porsche sports suspension on my '99 996 (installed approx 40k miles ago). Does anyone know what the life expectancy of this suspension is? Not tracked.
Also - I've been hearing a lot about PSS9's - on here and on Rennlist and was wondering whether anyone has experience of these on a 996? How good is it, in comparison to the factory sports suspension?
I'm looking for a little extra lowering, firm, but well damped ride and NOT grounding on speedbumps etc. My car at the mo never grounds on anything - speedbumps, car park ramps, etc.
